I have some extra time on my hands, so I'll update (though its not very interesting).

I restarted this on Monday with a blurb of my return and a survey because that seemed to be an appropriate way to start.
I think I was a bit flustered that day, and that was my reason for making such an impulsive comeback; I needed an outlet/distraction and sadly this was the only thing that could provide that.

I went to my specialist for a follow-up appointment for my ankle where I found out I need surgery. I sprained my ankle at the beginning of the soccer season (September), and apparently it ended up being worse than I thought. Turns out, I tore a major tendon in my ankle, and severely damaged two other ones, all of which are beyond self-repair... and the procedure sounds like it's going to be a bitch. Basically, the plan is to cut into my heel bone, move it over, and screw it into place. Then, cut into the bottom of my foot, sew part of a tendon to another tendon (so 1 tendon can take over the other's function) and remove that now-extra tendon... then use it to replace the torn tendon in my ankle; miss 1-2 weeks of school, crutches for 3-4 weeks, 3 month recovery period, rehab all summer. FML.

So, I spent all of Monday being angry at the world knowing how much this surgery will suck seeing as it's my second major surgery in high school on the same leg. Sweet. Anyways, I came home and sulked around still being depressed despite the cheerful efforts of others.

Tuesday I got over it and endured my least favorite day of the week which includes a double of pre-calc, and a double with my least favorite person, and no internship. Boo.

Today wasn't bad... double english with my favorite teacher, study, microsoft office certification, AP Psych where I aced my 3rd quiz in a row, Holocaust & Human Behavior where we had a discussion, and then internship at Finn (an elementary school; basically I'm a TA in a first grade classroom). I don't know what I'm doing for the rest of the day, hopefully something productive.

The rest of the week doesn't look too bad... Thursday is my favorite day of the week: double study & double Finn :) and Friday shouldn't be too bad... how bad can it be if it's Friday? And no plans yet for the weekend except potentially seeing Kyle which would be nice.

I went away on hiatus and, at the moment, have an unfamiliar urge to write in one of these so here I am again. Oh, and Colleen, I suppose this is partially for you.

I don't know how long this will last; it could be this one entry that I will delete like all my past ones and it just as likely could be the beginning of what I will use to document the upcoming years of my life. Who knows.

Not only am I unsure of how long this will last, but I also have no idea why the hell I'm doing it. I have nothing to say, and no one to say it to. I guess I feel like I'm lacking a personal and intense connection with someone... then again I tend to be a bit skeptical about meeting people online... so maybe I should rule that motive out. Maybe someone will prove my skepticisms wrong. Regardless my reasons, I'm here. If you care, let me know.
